10 Amazing Ways To Keep Your Toilet Smelling Fresh

You used domestic or household bleach to clean your clothes. In all honesty, I don’t avoid bleach as most people do. My trick for keeping my toilet odor-free has always been this. A little bleach in the toilet bowl will work even after doing a #2.

Instructions:

Just add a quarter cup of household or domestic bleach to a 1-liter spray container filled with water. Keep this in the restroom and use bleach whenever you feel the need for an urgent toilet freshener.

This not only gets rid of unpleasant toilet scents but also helps you out by getting rid of pee stains. Additionally, bleach is available in adorable small bottles. They are equally incredible.

4 FABULOSO

This is the purple one, I think. When it comes to toilet odor, the lavender-scented Fabuloso cleaning is a genius. You only need to clean your toilet before adding the Fabuloso to the tank or bowl and letting it sit there.

SPILLED URINE…Instructions:

Pour a small amount of Fabuloso on some toilet paper or paper towels and swiftly wipe the seat to clean up the spillage. Lift the seat while you do this so you can also clean up the spill from underneath. With this one, you can’t go wrong.

The one I am using is purple fabuloso, and when it comes to toilet odor, the lavender-scented Fabuloso is a genius. You only need to clean your toilet before adding the Fabuloso to the tank or bowl and letting it sit there.

5. BOWL FRESH

Bowl Fresh is a cute little hook-on that you place inside the toilet bowl. These are made from Borax, dye, and surfactants that were developed specifically to prevent toilet odors. However, the smell of Bowl Fresh says more.

Instructions:

Remove the plastic packaging and hook the Bowl Fresh to the toilet seat. This will make your toilet smell amazing! This will last for more than a month.

6. BAKING SODA

If you are a naturalist, this is the one for you. Baking soda is a powerful stain and odor remover. This works magically without leaving a strong deodorizing scent behind.

Instructions:

Simply sprinkle baking soda into the toilet and scrub with a toilet brush to keep it smelling natural and clean. Leave the baking soda overnight and wash it in the morning for a more detailed approach.

7. DAWN DISH SOAP

Cleaning your toilet with Dawn Dish Soap is brilliant. This liquid dish detergent will quickly remove odors from your toilet.

8. OIL SOAP MURPHY’S

It is, indeed, an oil-based soap with a natural vintage scent. Just 2 drops of Murphy’s Oil Soap in the toilet will keep it odor-free and smelling naturally fresh.

The Toilet’s Outside Area:

Pour a small amount of the oil soap onto a slightly damp paper towel or cleaning rag. To remove spills, wipe the entire outer area of the toilet. Wipe the soapy areas twice with a clean, damp cleaning rag.

9. POWDERED LAUNDRY DETERGENT

To clean your toilet, use powdered laundry detergent.

Most households never run out of laundry detergent. All you need powdered laundry detergent to remove the revolting odor of urine and feces from a really bad-smelling toilet.

Instructions…

Pour a small handful of powdered detergent into the toilet bowl and scrub for 1- 2 minutes with a toilet brush. Flush to get rid of the soapy residue, and voilà! There will be no more stinky toilets.

Be careful not to use too much laundry detergent as this will become too muddy, making it impossible to get rid of the sud and may cause an overflow.

10. ESSENTIAL OILS

There are numerous fragrance essential oils available. After adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil, your toilet will never smell the same.

Instructions:

After cleaning it, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to your toilet bowl.

Doing it every day after use and after cleaning the toilet will ensure you always have an amazing-smelling toilet.

11. Rubbing Alcohol

If you’re experiencing strange odors emanating from your toilet, don’t panic; rubbing alcohol can help! Here’s how you can use it to get rid of scents.

1. Take a bottle of rubbing alcohol from your medicine cabinet or a nearby store and pour roughly 1/2 cup into a spray bottle.

2. Spray the rubbing alcohol directly into the toilet bowl and around the rim, ensuring that all surfaces are covered. Allow the alcohol to work its magic for 2 to 3 minutes.

3. Using a toilet brush, clean the bowl thoroughly, being sure to get beneath the rim and along the edges.

4. Finally, flush the toilet, and there you have it!  and voila! Your toilet should be odor-free immediately, and your bathroom should smell fresh and clean!
