- Put your hair in a high ponytail, except your bangs, and secure it with an elastic.
- The donut band should be placed towards the base of the ponytail.
- Relax the doughnut band and let your hair flow over it. The band should be entirely hidden by your hair.
- Use an elastic band to hold the covered hair in place.
- Pin your hair into place and twist the remaining hair around the bun’s foundation.
#9 Wrapped-Up Bun
What do you require?
- Hairclips with elastic bands
How To Proceed
- Put your hair in a low to medium ponytail, then pull part of it forward.
- Wrap a piece of hair around the base of the ponytail to hide the elastic band.
- Wrap the hair loosely so that it doesn’t become tangled.
- Gather more hair from the ponytail and wrap it around the base.
- Continue in this manner until your whole ponytail is coiled.
- Part your hair down the middle and sweep it to one side (mimicking side-swept bangs).
- Style it like a bun by combing it and wrapping hair tightly around the bottom.
- In the case of short hair, this piece may be pinned just above the bun.
#8 Untidy Bun With Two Knots
What do you require?
- Bands made of elastic Hair pins
- Utilize a Comb/Brush with Hairspray
How To Proceed
- Start with clean, dry hair. Use a comb or brush to untangle your hair.
- Use a middle part to style your hair.
- Use an elastic band to pull your hair back into a low ponytail.
- Split your ponytail in two, one half going to the right and the other to the left.
- A knot should be tied at both ends. Make sure there’s enough wiggle room in the knot and the band isn’t too tight.
- Replace the first knot with a double one. More knots may be achieved with longer hair.
- Wrap an elastic band around both knots to keep them in place. A braid with knots is the result.
- Pick up the braid, untie it, and twist it into a bun.
- Use hair pins to keep the bun in place.
- Use hairspray to preserve your style for many hours.
