Cut an onion in half, and use one side to wipe over your glass window. When you are through wiping use a sponge dampened with warm water to wipe away the residues. Give the window a second wipe with a clean sponge to ensure your window comes out spotless.

To care for wooden items around your home, specifically, cleaning your wooden furniture. These can be cleaned with liquid cow’s milk. This sounds a little wacky but the scientific detail of milk is fat. Fats can be used to add sheen to the wood. That somehow clarifies our milk concern.

To polish your wooden furniture, use a damp sponge or cloth to clean away the dirt and dust from the wooden piece. Pour a dab of the milk on a slightly damp sponge.

Use this to polish the wooden piece. To remove the smell of the milk sprinkle a few drops of scented oil on a sheet of paper towel to glide over the piece. This should remove the smell of the milk.

To spot-treat stains on clothes, this recipe will take care of that. I would recommend using this Amish bleach recipe for just one item at a time. For this, you’ll need a small bucket.

Fill the bucket with one gallon of water. Stir in 1 cup hydrogen peroxide,1/2 cup baking soda, and dissolve well then submerge the item. This should only be done if the stain is widespread causing discoloration.

Allow this to soak for 1 hour before checking to see the progress. When you are satisfied with the color toss in your washer on a regular cycle using your regular laundry detergent.

For a spot-on treatment add 1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide to 1/4 cup baking soda. Stir into a paste and apply it onto the spot and allow it to sit overnight. Wash as you normally would in the morning.

Before using on colored clothes test a small amount on a hidden area before applying to prevent damage.

This word has become very common these days as everyone seems to somehow be having grout issues. The real solution to grout stain is to clean the area regularly to prevent dust and grease build-up which then turns into ugly stains.

To remove grout stains from tiles including your bathroom tiles and kitchen floor tiles is pretty simple. Pour 2 tablespoons of household bleach into a small spray bottle. To this add 1/4 cup warm water with an equal amount of white vinegar.

Shake well and spray directly on the grout stain which is mostly found between each tile. Let this sit for 1 hour. Use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or an old toothbrush to brush the areas you had sprayed. Lather with Dawn dish soap and a wet cleaning rag then rinse with warm water. NOTE: This recipe requires the user to wear a face mask.
