For everyday cleaning of your glass stovetop, I recommend just wiping it down with a little bit of degreaser and a microfiber cloth.
The degreaser will help break down any greasy food spills like oils. Plus, the baking soda will add a little bit of grit to help break down any baked-on foods.
Spray the glass stovetop and let it sit for a minute or two and then give it a wipe down with a microfiber cloth.
Occasionally you may get some larger baked-on foods that just don’t easily remove with the degreaser. Once a month I recommend giving your glass top stove a deep cleaning.
Spray it down with the degreaser and then sprinkle some extra baking soda over any areas that have really badly baked-on grease. Let the mix sit on the stove for about 5 minutes.
Next, take a microfiber cloth and gently scrub at the areas with the baked-on grease. The mix of the degreaser and the extra baking soda will help scrub away the food and grime.
Take a damp cloth and wipe down the stovetop until all the degreaser and baking soda are gone.
If you still have any baked-on food or grime on the stove you can use a razor blade to remove it. Make sure you check your manual first if you can use a razor blade, a few stoves don’t allow it.
Gently use the razor blade to remove any of the remaining baked-on food and wipe away the food.
Finally, if you want to give your glass stovetop a streak-free shine spray with a little vinegar and wipe down with a microfiber cloth.
