Homemade Lysol

Want a natural disinfectant spray? Check out a homemade lysol to keep your home free of germs. The DIY disinfectant spray is easy to make and smells good too!

If you have been a reader for long you know that I love using essential oils for cleaning around the house.

I have found that I can make my own cleaners usually cheaper than what they are in the store and they clean better too. Last year, I discovered this homemade lysol at an essential oils party a friend had.

We made some different beauty and cleaning products to use around the house. Although I haven’t remade any of the beauty products since the party I have kept making the DIY disinfectant spray.

Not only does it smell great but it cleans and kills germs just like lysol does.

If you want to ditch the lysol and use a more natural disinfectant spray check out this homemade lysol.

How To Make Homemade Lysol Disinfectant Spray

To start you will need a spray bottle, rubbing alcohol, plus lavender and lemon essential oils.

I use this metal spray bottle just because that is what she provided. I also love these glass spray bottles that I use for the rest of my homemade cleaners. You can use whatever works best for you!

For the essential oils, I am not brand picky, but I do love Fabulous Frannie essential oils.

I have noticed that they are just as good as the more expensive brands but cost much less. You can head over here to grab one of their gift sets or just buy one bottle. They are usually less than $5 a bottle.
