HOW TO CLEAN OLD SOAP SCUM

 

To remove old soap scum make a paste of liquid soap, lemon juice, and baking soda. Apply to the spots and let it sit for 15 minutes. Use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (wet) to scrub the walls of the shower. Rinse well and dry.

CLEANING SOAP SCUM ON SHOWER GLASS DOOR

 

 

Combine in a spray bottle 1 part Dawn dish soap and 1 part distilled vinegar. Close the door and mist. Do not wipe right away as you want to enable the solution to penetrate for 20 minutes.

Allow the solution to drip in the shower then scrub the surface with an abrasive cloth or my most loved, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Rinse with warm water and dry.

I thought I might just carry on by telling you how to prevent soap scum from forming on your shower walls and doors. You are not going to believe that this actually works. I know this because I tried it and it works for up a week.

USING WD-40 IN THE SHOWER

 

 

That title was not a mistake. If you wipe on WD-40 onto your shower doors, walls, and faucets your soap scum trouble will be over.

The spray is slightly oil-based and can be used to clean away spots on glass and prevent soap from drying on all the abovementioned.
